Weekend Quality Inspector

About the role

Be the quality authority for our weekend production crew. You’ll perform first-article and in-process inspections that keep parts shipping to spec, working independently with four days off every week.

What you'll do

  • Perform first-article inspections and routine in-process dimensional checks
  • Read shop drawings, dimensions, and tolerances — including GD&T
  • Measure with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and gauge blocks & pins
  • Document inspection results clearly for the weekday quality team
  • Identify, quarantine, and escalate nonconforming parts
  • Coach weekend operators on proper measurement technique

What we're looking for

  • Strong GD&T and print-reading skills (required)
  • 2+ years in a production quality-control role, machining environment preferred
  • Experience with manual CMM measurement (a plus)
  • Solid computer skills for documenting results
  • Independent judgment — you're the quality call on weekends

Schedule, pay & benefits
